COURSE OVERVIEW
The contribution of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to the energy mix has dramatically increased in recent years. In comparison to other fossil fuels, LNG is the most environmentally friendly. It offers a great substitute to decrease greenhouse gas emissions and combat climate change. LNG is becoming a more affordable and cleaner fuel in many industrial, transportation, and marine sectors. The global LNG market is anticipated to grow exponentially due to rising energy consumption, global growth, and increasing taste for LNG in emerging economies.
This Fundamental of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) covers the fundamentals of LNG value chain, technical operations and commercial factors. You will understand the role of LNG, the terminologies used and the economy of scale. The course covers LNG plant operations, technical processes, custody transfer measurement & storage. LNG shipping & regasification process are discussed in detail. You will understand the important aspects of LNG projects. It also covers the framework of LNG Purchase Agreements.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of the Fundamental of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) training seminar, participants will learn to:
- Understand the role of LNG, terminologies, the economy of scale and the value chain.
- Enhance your knowledge of LNG plant operations
- Understand the gas purification process
- Have a good background LNG measurement system procedures and test methods
- Learn about the types of LNG ships, Cool down process & Dry dock procedures
- Acquire an in-depth understanding Regasification process
- Get an overview of LNG Projects
- Understand LNG Sales & Purchase Agreement
TARGET AUDIENCE
This Fundamental of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) training course is suitable to a wide range of professionals but will greatly benefit:
- Process Engineers, along with the Petroleum and Production engineers
- Field Operators and Technicians
- Facilities and process engineers
- Geologists and reservoir engineers
- Other Company Staff Involved in LNG Gas Treatment and Processing
- Managers and government officials, and others involved with supervising gas processing operations
- Managers involved in the planning and development of LNG facilities
TRAINING METHODOLOGY
This training seminar will utilise a variety of proven adult learning techniques to ensure maximum understanding, comprehension and retention of the information presented. It will be delivered using a combination of interactive presentations, case studies, participant activities, and exercises to maximize the learning experience’s impact. Delegates will have ample time to consider the ideas and apply the skills discussed.
Pre & Post course assessments will be used to measure the effectiveness of this training and measure the skill and ability of participants.
