Black carbon is a global environmental problem that negatively impacts both human health and our climate. Inhalation of black carbon is associated with health problems, including respiratory and cardiovascular disease, cancer, and even birth defects. Black carbon also contributes to climate change, causing changes in rain and clouds patterns. Air pollution, both outdoors and indoors, causes millions of premature deaths each year. But black carbon impacts human health and affects visibility, harms ecosystems, reduces agricultural productivity, and exacerbates global warming.


This unique training course is designed to introduce staff and management at all levels to the issue of environmental responsibility and look at what can be done to reduce negative environmental impact from our day-to-day activities and the reduction of Black Carbon emissions.
